DURING MY LEISURE TIME: I like to listen to iPowerfm.com for continuous gospel Jams! Well, of course!! But besides that I enjoy going to gospel concerts, writing poetry, and hanging our with my family and friends most of all. I’m a very chill person, as long it doesn’t compromise my vibes I’m cool for new exciting adventures.
I GOT INTO RADIO BECAUSE: I have a strong passion for the youths, so my initial idea was to somehow connect them through the media and arts and entertainment industries. Radio is one of the best outlets for expression, so I went to school for Radio Broadcast and now looking forward in making this vision a reality.
THE ONE THING ABOUT ME THAT I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH OUR LISTENERS IS THAT: I’m a Caribbean girl at heart, love the food, culture, people, dialect and of course the nature! My background is of Jamaican decent, and although I am a Canadian, I would never want to leave the Jamaican part of me quiet!
Also I have to admit that I have a strong passion for missions/evangalisim and volunteer work. I’ve been on two volunteer trips to Jamaica and I’m just amazed by God and his love each time I go. While in Jamaica I worked with student in schools, setting up after-school programmes and assisting nurses at the homes we visited.
Through missions I’ve come to understand the heart of Christ and the love that He has for each and every one of us. Missions and evangelism will always be dear to my heart, and I’m so excited to see where the Father will bring me next.
Jesus Christ is my Ultimate influnce by far. If I start writing about His goodness and how He has changed my life completely I don’t think there would be any room left on this page for anything else.
!!Jesus Rocks! Anyhow, Besides Jesus, I have many positive influences, its all dependant on the season I’m in life, and how that person connects with me. But I can say this much, Anyone who has fought for justice and liberty, who overcame their greatest fears, who’s turned their can’t into can , both great or small, weather in a textbook or not they are my greatest influences.
